Searching for an IT leader that has the ability to take the IT Operations function at one of the fastest growing medical technology companies to the next level. The IT Operations Director is responsible for all aspects of the global IT infrastructure at Abiomed. This includes the Help Desk and Network and Systems infrastructure across 4 sites around the globe.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive technology strategy for all IT infrastructure areas
Partner with business functions to understand and meet requirements
Manage, motivate and mentor a team of 12 IT professionals
Optimize partnerships to augment current staff capabilities
Prepare and manage budgets for technology and services purchases
Develop and track metrics to assess organizational performance
Lead building of scalable processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
Lead strategic planning and execution around IT Security
Skills/Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
10-20 years of experience in leadership positions in IT
Ability to develop and communicate IT infrastructure strategy
Proven ability to execute projects with high levels of customer satisfaction and adoption
Track record of developing IT professionals and building teams
Experience with cloud technologies and migrations
Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset
Strong partnering skills with all areas of the business
