We are looking for a positive, self-motivated and confident individual that has strong attention to detail to join our Talent Acquisition team. The Recruiting Coordinator works closely with a team of senior recruiters and is an integral partner in managing recruiting activities and building internal and external relationships - often providing candidates with their first impression of ABIOMED.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate candidate interviews for the recruiting team (extensive scheduling, including travel arrangements as needed)
  • Greet and facilitate site tours for candidates visiting the ABIOMED facility as needed
  • Coordinate the post-interview debrief meetings.
  • Identify and implement improvements to the candidate experienceand scheduling process
  • Provide regular activity reports
  • Manage job posting activities through Applicant Tracking System and recruitment tools
  • Ensure the function is compliant with all federal and state employment laws
  • Assist with candidate onboarding process
  • Participate and lead initiatives such as, diversity, college, co-op and internship outreach
  • Research upcoming networking, diversity and veteran events for team assignment
  • Explore relevant competitive data & talent-related information for team distribution
  • Opportunity to lead or participate in social media initiatives to enhance the candidate experience
  • Opportunity to source, prescreen and reference check candidates

 





Skills/Requirements

 

  • BA/BS Degree in Human Resources, Business or demonstrated experience in a similar business environment
  • Minimum of 1+ years of work experience
  • Detail oriented, results oriented and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Confidence and ability to interact and communicate with all levels of management
  • Consummate team player with positive, enthusiastic attitude, personality and presence
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to multi task, prioritize and work under pressure (#LI-BM1)
