You will manage and expand a Global Talent Acquisition team to create a world class recruiting group to shape the future of Abiomed. You will provide strategic recommendations and guidance to allow leadership to successfully meet organizational needs. This position will report to the VP of HR.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition (TA):
Develop and drive TA strategy and implement the delivery of world class talent identification.
Proactively build an on-going pipeline of talent for current and future needs.
Implement and continually improve TA tools, methodologies, policies and procedures appropriate to the recruiting objectives of the business (ATS, interview training, EEO/AAP).
Identify reports to communicate recruiting status statistics including cost, time and quality.
Establish TA requirements by understanding Abiomed’s business goals and culture
Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to identify ideal candidate profiles.
Branding and Social Media:
Develop coherent, high impact Talent Acquisition “brand” that grows Abiomed’s status to Employer of Choice. Brand will include Abiomed’s Patients First! culture, technology, innovation, leadership and long term company strategy for growth.
Oversee strategy for social media outlets for TA including: LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook and continually improve current social profile.
Manage and Coach Team:
Lead, manage, mentor, build and inspire the global Talent Acquisition team.
Monitor, improve and reduce the costs of the Talent Acquisition process.
Direct, design and measure results of advertisements and promotional programs.
Manage the Talent Acquisition budget.
Skills/Requirements
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required, advanced degree a plus
Minimum of 8 years of full-cycle Talent Acquisition experience with 5 years of managing a growing international team and experience in medical device, pharma or healthcare
Technical and digital recruiting and sourcing experience required
Both corporate and agency recruiting experience required
