Job Description
  1. TRUSTED ADVISOR:
    Establishes and fosters a trustful, positive relationship with all internal clients. Assist with the alignment of client needs and corporate programs and strategies (i.e. career development, performance management, coaching, and compensation programs). Coaches employees on change initiatives and the impact of change on the business. Partners with management to communicate various HR policies and procedures.

 

  1. PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT/ EMPLOYEE RELATIONS:
    Investigate, manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conduct exit interviews, analyze data and communicate corrective action recommendations to management. Advise, coach and counsel management on addressing performance issues and the development of action plans.

 

  1. TRAINING/DEVELOPMENT:
    Partner with management to assess training needs and identify appropriate training courses for employees. Coordinate with employee development, external training vendors and/or deliver training as needed.

 

  1. RECRUITMENT & STAFFING: 
    Source candidates in support of department requirements.  Interview and select candidates for hire in partnership with department management.  Extend offers on behalf of the Company consistent with established compensation and benefit practices.  Assist in the assimilation and orientation of new hires as required.

 

  1. COMPENSATION: 
    Perform compensation analysis as required.  Partner with department heads to make appropriate adjustments when needed.




Skills/Requirements
  • BA/BS degree
  • 6-8 years of experience in providing Human Resources support.
  • Requires demonstrated knowledge in the areas of staffing, employee relations, compensation, benefits, organizational development, training and workers’ compensation/safety.
  • Strong project management, planning and organizing skills required.
  • Knowledgeable in employment law, compensation programs, and regulations as they pertain to day-to-day management of Human Resources issues.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
