Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Advanced Applications, the Manager, Clinical Training Operations will be responsible for managing our field-based clinical trainers (Regional Training Managers), who are located throughout the United States and Canada. This individual will be responsible for allocating and tracking team resources including but not limited to travel assignments for field certifications, emergency case coverage, quality initiatives, new product introductions and customer training.

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the resources of the Regional Training Managers and assign, allocate and track them based on the current needs of the field team and corporate initiatives.
  • Respond to the needs and requests of the Regional Training Managers by working cross functionally with other members of the training team, commercial team, marketing group, regulatory group, etc.
  • Work closely with others on the Danvers training team to oversee the field clinical certification of new hires and the ongoing certification requirements of the current team.
  • Ensure consistency in the field certification process including delivery and utilization of current content on a timely basis.
  • Maintain and analyze the needs of the growing clinical training team including recruitment and hiring of new personnel. 
  • Oversee administrative and reporting requirements of the team including budget management and expense approvals of training personnel.
  • Report on the progress and effectiveness of training and certification initiatives.

 

 





Skills/Requirements

Job Qualifications:

  • RN or other clinical certification required.
  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years experience in a field based clinical or training role with cardiovascular experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous management experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Superior people skills and an ability to work in a flexible environment that serves the needs of an emergent patient population.
