Job Description

To provide effective administrative assistance and support to the Office of Student Services as well as other team members, to include the school psychologist, under the guidance of the Director of Student Services.

Primary Responsibilities:

?       Overall management of the Student Services office

?       Provide effective administrative assistance to the Director of Student Services

?      Manage the calendar scheduling for the Director of Student Services and other team members

?      Maintain and use student databases to access and deliver information

?       Organize events as assigned

?       Support the annual budgeting process including preparing yearly purchase orders, where needed

Required Qualifications:

?      Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

?      College or professional degree preferred

?      Previous experience working in an educational institution preferred

?      Powerschool and Google Suite related experience would be highly advantageous

?      Tactful and professional front office skills

?      English speaker with exceptional verbal and written communication skills

?       Knowledge and proficiency using productivity software packages (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, etc.)

?      Self-Starter, self-assertive and proactive

?      Have flexibility in working with different departments

?      Well-organized and efficient

?      Pleasant and patient in dealing with faculty, students and parents

?      Accuracy with inputting database information

?      Have ability to pay close attention to details

?      Must be aware at all times of confidentiality

Terms of Employment

This position is classified as a non-sponsored support staff position and reports to the Director of Student Services. General working hours are from 7:45 am - 3:45 pm, Monday through Thursday and 7:45 am - 12:45 pm (on site) & 2:30 pm - 3:45 pm (flexible) on Fridays. In some cases, flexibility with work hours is requested to meet the needs of the role. This position stipulates 196 working days.
