Job Description

The Opportunity:

Opportunities exist for qualified, capable and energetic Electronics Technicians to support manufacturing efforts in the areas of:

  • Circuit card assembly
  • Circuit card rework
  • Electro-mechanical assembly
  • Circuit card and higher order assembly automated test
  • Development and refinement of manufacturing processes
  • Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS)

Job Description:

Qualified applicants will be able to contribute in multiple facets of the manufacturing operation by being relied on to conduct assembly, test, debug/troubleshooting, inspection and operation of a variety of test and assembly equipment with proficiency. 





Skills/Requirements
  • Electronic, Mechanical and Electro-mechanical assembly.
    • Installs components and sub-assemblies in accordance with provided work instructions.
    • Assembles printed circuit boards following specifications and work instructions.
    • Uses electronic, hand powered, and pneumatic tools.
  • Keeps accurate records for build information, anomalies, defects and test data.
  • Maintains all manufacturing related equipment and facilities. 
  • Contributes to the workplace organization initiatives.
  • Operates standard laboratory test equipment and automated test systems.
  • Operates environmental test equipment
  • Provides feedback to manufacturing engineers on ways to improve procedural steps and process implementation. 

Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

  • Two to five year minimum experience in an Electronics Technician role or related position.
  • Preference will be given to candidates that possess qualifications in:
    • IPC J-STD-001 Class 3
    • IPC-7711
    • IPC-7721
  • Holds or able to obtain a DoD Security clearance.
  • Exhibits basic computer skills.
  • Open to new manufacturing concepts and processes. 
  • Adaptable to new environments.
  • Strong verbal and technical writing skills.
  • Has experience using test electronic test equipment.
  • Experienced with and able to use hand tools and small power tools.
  • Able to read, understand and follow technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
  • Able to work a set and consistent schedule. 
  • Possesses and maintains a good attendance record and able to work overtime when required (nights and weekends).
  • Strong organizational tendencies and practices. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

    Note: All candidates must be willing to be subjected to a proficiency evaluation as part of the interview process
