Job Description

Job Summary

Provide contract administration support from the contract proposal stage through negotiation, award,  performance and close out for a DoD prime contractor. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Support review of solicitations and provide contract risk assessment/mitigation; recommendations;
  • Serve as the communication liaison between internal and external parties during contract development, negotiation and performance;
  • Effectively negotiate terms and prices of a contract;
  • Ensure internal company stakeholders are kept current with contract requirements and modifications;
  • Timely processing of contract agreements and modifications;
  • Monitor performance for compliance with contract terms and conditions and other applicable administrative and regulatory requirements;
  • Maintain contract files and associated documentation.
  • Negotiate and process third party agreements such as NDA’s and Teaming Agreements;
  • Support research and interpretation of FAR/DFARS and other regulations as required.

 





Skills/Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in Federal Government DoD contracting environment
  • Working knowledge of the FAR and DFARS
  • NCMA certification a plus
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office products
  • Attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies
  • Excellent reading and language comprehension
  • Ability to work with a team at all levels of an organization
  • Strong analytical and decisions making skills,
  • Effective communicator, both oral and written
  • Ability to multi-task

Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree and 4 + years of performing contract administration duties for a DoD prime contractor.  Paralegal training may substitute for Bachelor's degree.

 

 

This position may require the applicant to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance.
