Athens Technical College in Athens, Georgia, seeks an Adjunct Instructor to teach courses in macroeconomics and microeconomics at all Athens Technical College Campuses. The candidate will report to the Program Chair of Consumer Economics, which is aligned under the Business and Education Division. The successful applicant will be expected to implement course materials that support stated initiatives and use appropriate teaching techniques to provide students with the knowledge needed to achieve the learning outcomes for each economics course offered. Applicants must be available to teach a day class and/or a night class on the Athens Tech main campus. This position requires using appropriate teaching, testing, and grading techniques; demonstrating current knowledge of the subject area; using effective written and oral communication skills; maintaining educational records; using technology appropriate to the subject taught; and evaluating students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in Economics or a Master’s degree with a concentration in Economics with 18 graduate credit hours in Economics (graduate hours in management, business, accounting, or education are not sufficient) Preferred Qualifications
