Job Description

The Quality Assurance Department is currently has an opening for a QA Inspector. The position will report directly to the QA Manager. Candidates will be working in a fast paced, attention detailed environment with work performed to validate conformance of material to be used for production or direct delivery to customers. Most work activities shall be performed within a normal 40 hour work week but candidates need to have the ability to occasionally work overtime when required.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (These essential responsibilities are those the individual must be able to perform unaided or with the assistance of reasonable accommodation.)

  • Performs Fitment Checks of material to ensure conformance/ usability
  • Performs inspections of Mechanical, Cable, and Circuit Card Assemblies against company controlled drawings and specifications to ensure conformance
  • Initiates Non Conformance reports for material to be out of part specifications
  • Seeking hard worker with a positive attitude




Skills/Requirements
  • Minimum two years experience in a Electronic, Mechanical and Electro-mechanical assembly Production Environment
  • Strong organizational and writing skills
  • Ability to interpret and follow technical drawings, datasheets and written work instructions
  • IPC  J-STD-001 Specialist Certification
  • IPC 610 Specialist Certification
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a DoD security clearance
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
