The Division of Adult Education at Athens Technical College seeks a part-time Outreach Coordinator for the Bridge to Success program. The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for both leading outreach efforts and participant recruitment, as well as coordinating the program’s Georgia BEST curriculum. A high level of independent judgment is required to effectively carry out the essential duties of the job. This person works cooperatively with all Adult Education and Athens Tech faculty and staff where applicable and is administratively responsible to the Vice President for Adult Education.

Skills/Requirements | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in field related to education, workforce development, or economic development and three (3) years of experience in an educational setting. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree; demonstrated experience in workforce preparation programming, promoting and sustaining community based relationships, and economic development initiatives; excellent verbal and written communication skills, word processing skills, and data management experience; ability to multi-task, network, and work as part of a team as well as independently.
