Friends University is seeking to fill two Help Desk Technician positions in Wichita Kansas. This position provides first point of contact for Information Technology and Educational Technology customer questions, problems, and requests. The technician will use incident management software to track, correct, and monitor problems to insure timely resolution. The technician will resolve customer issues or escalate more complex issues to the appropriate area. Responsibilities:
Work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. |

Requirements: One year experience in personal computer software and hardware troubleshooting. An associate’s degree or certification is desired. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills are necessary. Ability to multitask. Ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner. Ability to have a positive and productive working relationship with co-workers, university personnel, and students. Working knowledge of all office equipment, including, but not limited to, computer, copier, fax machine, and telephone.
