Job Description

Friends University is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach undergraduate students in on ground, online and e-synchronous formats.  Classes meet 6-10 p.m. one night a week for eight weeks for the Accounting program.

This course emphasizes accounting information to assist management in conducting and controlling daily operations, decision-making and planning future operations.  Students will gain an appreciation for the uses of managerial accounting information in the business environment, and develop the foundation to understand all accounting related concepts during the curriculum.





Required:  A master's student with a CPA, CMA or who is on the CPA/CMA track.  The prospective adjunct my teach CAPS accounting courses after only one year from the date of their master's graduation  OR  Any master's student with at least 12 hours in a finance concentration AND with 3 - 5 years in a professional management finance position may also teach accounting courses after only one year from the date of their master's graduation.  CAPS classes may be taught by an adjunct after a waiting period of one year from the date of their master's graduation with proven professional experience.

 

Preferred:  CPA with 3-5 years teaching experience.
