Athens Technical College in Athens, Georgia seeks an Adjunct Instructor for its Commercial Truck Driving program in the evenings on its Elbert County Campus in Elberton, Georgia. The instructor is responsible for teaching classes in the commercial truck driving program, classroom and lab/driving activities. The successful applicant will be expected to implement course materials that support stated initiatives and use appropriate techniques to provide students with the knowledge needed to achieve the learning outcomes for each Commercial Truck Driving course offered.

Minimum Qualifications      

A minimum of three (3) years of over the road experience, and a Truck Driving Certificate from a Commercial Truck Driving Training School and a clean MVR.

Preferred Qualifications

An Associate’s degree; Tanker and Hazmat endorsement.
