Job Description

Ideal candidate has experience in government contracting environment and a working knowledge of the FAR and DFARS. They will provide subcontractor administrator support for the subcontract life cycle from the proposal stage through negotiation, performance and close out.  Will work closely with the senior subcontract administrator.

Duties and Responsibilities 

Responsible for supporting the following subcontract administration responsibilities:

  • Acts as the company administrative point of contact for the subcontractor;
  • Maintain files that are CPSR compliant, organized and current;
  • Generate RFP's/RFQ's for subcontractors;
  • Prepare price analysis/cost analysis of subcontractor proposals;
  • Review prime contract requirements and terms and conditions to develop subcontract flowdowns
  • Negotiation of subcontract price and terms:
  • Timely processing of subcontract agreements and modifications;
  • Review of subcontractor invoices prior to processing for payment;
  • Administer subcontracts in a CPSR compliant environment and ensure compliance with applicable FAR and DFARS;
  • Monitor performance for compliance with subcontract terms and applicable administrative and regulatory requirements;
  • Support research of FAR/DFARS and other regulations as required.




Skills/Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office products, detail oriented, strong analytical skills, effective communicator, team player;
  • 4+ years of experience in a government contracting environment providing contract or subcontract administrative support;
  • Working knowledge of the FAR and DFARS
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Organized, detail oriented and able to effectively prioritize

     

    Education

  • Bachelor Degree
  • CFCM preferred

 

This position may require the applicant to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance.
