Job Description

Friends University is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach Statistical Process Control for the Business Management program.  The candidate must be able to teach adult undergraduate students of the Prairie Band Nation located in north Topeka Kansas on Thursday nights 6 - 10 pm for summer 2018

This industry standard methodology for monitoring and controlling a process will be explored.  This course will focus on the applied use of the seven SPC tools and an overview of six-sigma principles.

The Business Management program uses a unique blend of cross-disciplinary components, students are prepared to enter or continue in the exciting and fast-paced field of business growth and development.  The Business Management program includes components focused on managerial concepts as well as quantitative controls at both the strategic and operational levels through exploration in the disciplines of improved processes, quantitative decision-making, problem solution development, information systems, accounting, business law, project development, communications, and marketing.  Domestic and global aspects of business management in diverse cultures as well as ethical issues are integrated throughout various courses.  





Required:

Master's in business-related field.

Green Belt in Six Sigma with 3-5 years of professional experience.
