Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Performs project level Configuration Management and Document Control using CM/DM tools, e.g., CVS, SVN, Dev Track, Redmine.

Maintains Configuration Management (CM) database.

Develops schedules, monitors progress, and maintains status of key project deliverables.

Provides timely review and update of documents for quality, compliance with SOW,CDRL and Data Item Description

Ability to interpret drawings, write using clear and concise language that adheres to customer-established standards and conventions

Create and/or update methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of electronic parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.

Provide processing and submittal of contract deliverables per individual contract requirements.

Provides direct liaison with customers with respect to project deliverables and their approval status.

Work closely with staff Process and Manufacturing Engineers and Manufacturing personnel to create documentation of assembly methods and work instructions.

Works with a variety of different functions and levels of personnel in manufacturing, engineering, quality, and other disciplines to gather and interpret source information.

Ensures that technical information products are developed according to style guidelines. 

 





Skills/Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Highly motivated, detailed oriented, effective communicator, ability to work under pressure and to be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong technical writing skills and ability to deliver high quality documentation with strong attention to detail.

Proficient in use of MS Office products (advanced MS Word skills required: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).

Familiar with DoD contracts, SOW, and CDRL Exhibits (i.e., 1423 Forms).

Must possess an understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing process plans.

Ability to work independently or within a  team environment.

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security clearance.

 

Education/Experience

2 +years experience in a government contracting environment

Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

 

This position may require the applicant to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance.
