Job Description | ||||||||||||||||||||||
The Director of Production Operations plans, coordinates, directs and monitors production tasking across several functional areas including assembly, test, materials handling/warehousing and quality assurance. The Director of Production Operations works closely with supply chain management to establish material needs and resolve supply chain issues affecting the operation. This position is also responsible for establishing operational priorities and performance goals while working with senior leadership to ensure that contractual requirements are met on time and within budget. Additionally, the Head of Manufacturing Operations is chartered with process improvement and is expected to leverage industry best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to further the state of the manufacturing operation.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education Bachelor's degree in an engineering / technical discipline and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the field or related area. Additional experience may substitute for degree requirement. An advanced degree may substitute for minimum required years of experience.
