Job Description

Production Engineer to join the team delivering state-of-the-art electronic equipment to the US Navy.  The ideal candidate will rapidly adapt to our production environment and steadily develop knowledge/expertise across the spectrum of production deliverables.  Successful candidates will possess a trained eye for detail while being a reliable and committed member of the team.

Job Description:

Maintain production documentation (plans, procedures, and reports).

Develop and enhance test procedures for validating new requirements.

Verify test procedures on simulated and full systems.

Document problems (faults, failures, or other problems) in an issue tracking database.

Integrate and configure applications across multiple machines on isolated networks.

Troubleshoot, investigate, and identify errors encountered during failures.

Support the production test and related manufacturing processes as required.

Familiar with engineering principles and the engineering change control process.

Familiar with software and system testing.

Familiar with Navy Tactical Systems a plus

Ability to organize information

Ability to evaluate and dissect problems

Familiar with networked hardware and troubleshooting

 





Skills/Requirements

Minimum BSEE/BSEET degree or related

Two to five year minimum experience in Manufacturing/Engineering role or related position.

Holds or able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

Open to new manufacturing concepts and processes.

Adaptable to new environments.

Strong verbal and technical writing skills.

Skilled with Microsoft Office

Familiarity with Linux (or Unix operating systems), National Instruments hardware, software

Ability to work in a team environment supporting test technicians as required

Able to read, understand and follow technical drawings, datasheets, and written instructions.

Able to work a set and consistent schedule.

Possesses and maintains a good attendance record and able to work overtime when required (nights and weekends).

This position requires the applicant to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance.
