Job Description

Job Summary

Looking for a motivated software engineer to lead the design, development and implementation of software for a variety of applications. Sound knowledge of data structures and algorithms is required, prior experience with computer vision and/or machine learning algorithms, databases, and/or a strong math background are a plus.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include maintaining, updating, and extending existing code bases and creating new software applications. Must work closely with other systems and software engineers on requirements generation, design and implementation of application programming interfaces, and user interface development if required.





Skills/Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Experience with C++, Python, or Java required, experience with libraries such as OpenCV , Boost, BLAS, etc. are a plus. Experience with CUDA/GPU programming is a plus. Experience with databases such as SQL or Mongo is a plus. Experience with or a willingness to learn git/Mercurial for version control required. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be willing and able to work both individually and in team settings, including leading and managing a small groups of other developers as needed.

 

Education

BS Degree or higher in computer science / computer engineering required. Exceptional applicants with other degrees (e.g., information systems, applied math) or 5+ years of experience and a strong track record of past performance will be considered.

 

 

This position requires the applicant to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance.
