What will you contribute?

The Business Analyst has a primary role that includes software configuration, requirements gathering, specification, project coordination, design, testing, documentation and delivery.

In this role you will work with Finastra customers and other internal stakeholders – such as project managers, other business analysts, sales, product management and development teams – to adjust system mappings, modify system screen/rules configurations, test the application and create functional and technical documentation. Upon joining Finastra, you will be challenged to become a solution expert so that you fully understand how the application works along with how to best improve processes and best practices within the system.





Skills/Requirements

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Your deliverables as Business Analyst will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Writing specification documents of the required new functionalities
  • Validating new functionalities through manual test cases
  • Supporting Quality Assurance Team who performs non regression testing
  • Supporting development team during implementation
  • Performing presentations and demos of new functionalities to sales, pre-sales, product managers
  • Working closely with Support and Consultants Teams with analysis issues encountered by our clients on specific areas (pricing, reporting, position keeping etc.)

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Economics/ Finance/ Financial Mathematics
  • 2 - 4 years of  experience in financial markets 
  • Experience with concepts like Risk Management, Limits, Market Data, Pricing
  • Experience with financial instruments like:
    • Forex, Money Market, Securities as a must-have
    • IR Dervatives , Securities, Commodities, Equities, Inflation, Credit as nice to have
  • Analytical and  problem solving skills
  • Can-do-attitude
  • Ability to deliver presentations
  • Very good English
