Job Description

Career opportunities are available for Electrical Engineers with a minimum of 3 -5 years technical experience to support research, design, development and test of several projects through the full life cycle process.  

Prior experience in one or more of the following will be given preference:  Department of Defense contracting environment, schematic/circuit board design, embedded systems development, analog/digital system design, and test and evaluation. 





Skills/Requirements
  • Perform circuit design and analysis for analog, digital and mixed systems.
  • Develop schematics using computer-aided design tools.
  • Support circuit board design, layout and test
  • Conduct test and evaluation activities to assess custom and COTS electronic components and systems.
  • Develop and maintain design documentation, test plans and reports in a configuration controlled environment.
  • Develop and present technical and project status reports for senior management, program management, customers and stakeholders
  • Work with manufacturing engineers and personnel to ensure a smooth transition from development into production.
  • Provide life-cycle product support.
  • Demonstrated understanding and practical utilization of engineering process throughout the life cycle
  • Ability to objectively and constructively evaluate designs/test results obtained.
  • Practical experience with embedded systems design, analysis and test.
  • Ability to work independently and within a diverse engineering team.
  • Strong problem analysis, troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience interfacing with management and customers.

 

This position requires the applicant to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance.
