Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:  Provides support for planning and coordination activities of the BAM program, supports the needs of management, developmental, integration, and fleet support activities and manages metrics development and upkeep.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Analyze BAM program development, integration program activities and projects.
  2. Analyze program/project metrics for trend analysis and management review.
  3. Help coordinate program activities and tasking.
  4. Meet with offsite personnel on a regular basis to coordinate program and integration efforts.
  5. Coordinate the development and maintenance of technical data repositories.
  6. Analyze, review, and report major activities or discrepancies of task and resource allocations in the Master Schedule relative to baseline.  Evaluate resource loading.
  7. Help develop and support strategic marketing plans.
  8. Work closely with and manage program activities as necessary with other coordinators and technical leads.
  9. Perform and/or manage research activities for configuration management, proposal, and training upkeep purposes.
  10. Research, identify, and evaluate enterprise applications used to support the NTDPS program, (e.g., problem management software, document management software, etc.).
  11. Perform reviews of project schedules and documentation deliverables to ensure program consistency and adherence to quality standards.
  12. Participate in various forums (e.g. NTDPS CCB, IPRs, Sea Warrior IT Tech Telecon, etc.) in support of Progeny’s NTDPS Program.
  13. Communicate project/program issues to management, as necessary.
  14. Assist with checklist for program activities.
  15. Manage or delegate administrative support tasks as necessary.
  16. Oversee all CMMI-related activities, including audit scheduling and deficiency and action item management and reporting.
  17. Review program status weekly.
  18. Manage activities related to the team training schedule and upkeep of training materials.
  19. Coordinate conference activities and material preparation.
  20. Assist with proposal development, review, and schedule management.

 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA):

  • Possess a Bachelors of Science degree or equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
  • Familiarity with the CMM/CMMI model, and demonstrable evidence of defining and adhering to level maturity preferred.
  • Demonstrable evidence of analytical approach to problem solving and decision making.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Possess ability to manage effectively competing priorities and resource demands.
  • Possess PMP certification or be in the process of obtaining PMP Certification
  •  Experience with NAVSEA program office
