As a Business Operations Analyst I - Provisioning & Compliance, you will report to the Manager of Business Operations Analytics. This position requires strong attention to detail and supports accurate, timely, and consistent execution of provisioning and fulfillment activities. This role is responsible for processing provisioning and deprovisioning requests for Vertafore products, reviewing assigned fulfillment activity for accuracy, monitoring entitlement and compliance data, and escalating discrepancies that may impact customer access, billing accuracy, or internal reporting. With the use of internal systems, BI tools, and AI-enabled productivity tools, this position supports fulfillment accuracy, documentation, reporting visibility, and timely delivery of software and licenses across Vertafore products.
Core Requirements and Responsibilities:
Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:
· Processes accurate and timely provisioning and deprovisioning of products for our customers utilizing various internal systems and applications
· Processes assigned fulfillment events and reviews supporting details to assist with monthly revenue recognition processes
· Monitors entitlement, fulfillment, and compliance data using standard reports and BI tools
· Identifies basic data discrepancies, access issues, or process exceptions and escalates findings to management or senior team members
· Uses AI-enabled productivity tools to assist with documentation, data review, issue summarization, and reporting efficiency
· Supports internal monthly timelines and processes to ensure timely delivery of software and licenses
· Performs quality checks by verifying provisioning activity against system and audit standards
· Assists with researching fulfillment issues and documenting findings for review
· Maintains accurate process documentation and provides updates on assigned tasks
· Supports Quote-to-Cash processing activities by completing assigned fulfillment tasks and communicating issues as needed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Uses sound judgment and decision-making skills to escalate issues appropriately
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing provisioning and fulfillment activities
· Basic understanding of BI tools, AI-enabled productivity tools, data validation, and reporting concepts
· Basic understanding of data tables and relationships preferred
· Ability to manage multiple assigned tasks and meet recurring deadlines
· Demonstrated proficiency in technical writing and composition
· Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
· Proven analytical and critical thinking skills
· Self-driven, ability to complete assigned work independently with regular guidance and minimal supervision
· Ability to work effectively with other employees, departments/functions, as well as outside parties
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where changes or exceptions to procedures are common
Skills/Requirements
Qualifications:
· A bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, mathematics, economics, computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
· 1-2 years of relevant professional experience
· Salesforce, NetSuite, BI tools or AI-enabled productivity tools preferred
Additional Requirements and Details:
· Travel required up to 10% of the time
· Ability to work remotely with a stable internet connection on an as-needed basis
· Located and working from an office location (when required)*
· Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds
· Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.)
· Frequent sitting and/or standing
