Job Summary: is looking for a SEO Manager who will be responsible for developing and implementing an organic search strategy to ensure that content ranks highly in search engines, grows organic traffic, and increases overall conversion rates and revenue. This position will be responsible for maximizing the visibility of all organic search results across all platforms including mobile, tablet and desktop. The SEO Manager utilizes multiple data inputs in the optimization process including sales, traffic, rankings, device and click-stream.

Summary of Essential Functions:                             Included but not limited to

  • Manage and define SEO forecasts, monitoring, and reporting on search engine KPI's and their impact on defined business goals.
  • Develop innovative ways to improve site performance (ranking, bounce rate, time on site, etc.).
  • Assist with the execution of SEO projects that require platform integration.
  • Ensure that optimization opportunities are identified and initiatives taken to increase search engine ranking.
  • Determine and prioritize SEO content and link building activity spend and performance levels relative to budgets and expected KPI's.
  • Conduct testing of on/off page traffic and ranking influences.
  • Monitor and communicate performance against benchmarks for measuring SEO impact. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of activity in an effort to maximize results.
  • Perform marketing analysis on initiatives and make recommendations based on findings.
  • Evaluate existing and proposed sites for SEO optimization and provide clear actionable solutions for site improvement.
  • Monitor consumer search trends and identify new opportunities for optimization.
  • Make recommendations on key word selection and work with the marketing team on content optimization and development.
  • Keep pace with the changes in the SEO industry and trends to ensure compliance and efficiency with the latest SEO guidelines and algorithms.

Skills & Requirements

Job Qualifications:                     Minimum Abilities and Skills Required

  • 3-5 years experience with organic search engine optimization
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related area
  • Strong knowledge of SEO principles and methodology
  • Demonstrable track record of business results through SEO, preferably within eCommerce
  • Computer skills:  advanced MS Excel, intermediate MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; advanced knowledge of the Internet; working knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO tools; HTML/CSS experience a plus.
  • Ability to adjust to and anticipate changes in the company’s strategic focus and changing market conditions
  • Experience with keyword research, density analysis, and reporting
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with all levels of the company, vendors, and other external constituents
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to gain internal support and operate independently without supervision
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of managing projects and people both directly
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with an innate drive to succeed and grow
