Shady Grove Fertility Center is America’s largest and most progressive fertility center performing over 6,000 IVF cycles, including over 1,000 egg donation cycles, and an equal number of ovulation induction and IUI cycles annually. Twenty-nine reproductive endocrinologists as well as PhD scientists and over 500 highly specialized staff care for patients in 17 full-service offices and 4 satellite locations throughout the Baltimore, Philadelphia and Washington, DC metropolitan areas. We offer a comprehensive range of fertility treatment options including Ovulation Induction, IUI, IVF, and Donor Egg as well as resources to comprehensively address patients’ needs - medical, emotional, and financial.  The work we do, changing peoples' lives and building families, offers stimulation, challenge, and personal reward.

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Jr. IS/IT Technician to join our team.  This position is based in our Rockville, MD HQ Office working 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Travel to our satellite offices in the Greater Washington & Baltimore areas is required.

Responsibilities include:

-Primary Tier 1 on-site and remote support at all locations

-Ordering, installation, maintenance and upgrades of desktop computers and supporting software as well as routine network and server administration.

-Assist in departmental projects to provide higher quality service

-Delivering high quality customer service to employees, physicians and vendors.

-Planning & managing equipment moves to new offices and setting up work spaces.

 

Skills & Requirements

  • Associates degree in Computer Related Major required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1 - 2 Years experience in a IT/Computer support Role
  • A+, Network+, CCENT, MTA, or MCP a plus
  • Programming or networking experience is a plus.  
  • Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows OS
  • Strong knowledge of Outlook and End user support for Microsoft Exchange
  • Experience Microsoft Domain Environment (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Printer Management, File Share Management)
  • Basic networking skills
  • Imaging workstations and laptops
  • Knowledge of Remote control technologies
  • Strong computer skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA privacy regulations and ability to maintain patient data privacy in daily role
  • Ability to work independently in a timely, organized, methodical manner
  • Task oriented
