Job Description

As a Strategic Inside Sales Representative, you partner with a field based Strategic Account Executive to sell into some of the largest organizations in the world. Your role is to identify key contacts within a named list of accounts to close new business opportunities.  You will collaborate directly with your field sales rep to qualify leads, progress sales and win deals.  This role carries a shared quota with the field sales rep.

Skills & Requirements

  • Drive and achieve aggressive revenue targets
  • Hunt for new opportunities within a set of strategic named accounts
  • Map key stakeholders, technical requirements and business process on all deals
  • Profile accounts both independently and in tandem with the market development team
  • Manage opportunities within strategic accounts in collaboration with field reps
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle where you are running leads
  • Provide front line coverage while reps are in territory, on holidays, or out of the office
  • Provide support and assistance for RFP responses
  • Coordinate with Sales Operations on proposals, quotes and SalesForce.com maintenance
  • Drive revenue through incremental programs or projects initiated by sales management
  • Provide coverage at tradeshows and customer facing events when necessary
  • Proactively develop and maintain detailed knowledge of Veracode products and services through online learning and subject matter experts
  • Positively contribute to exceeding team quarterly quotas
  • Adherence to CRM, business systems and activity management standards
  • Some travel required.
