Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Primary Purpose of the Position

This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory in the Daytona Warehouse. This would include, but not limited to shipping, receiving, back stock, repack and inventory counts.

Warehouse Supervisor

  • Receiving

  • Parts runner

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound freight 
  • Perform bin moves, build and receive transfers
  • Accurate put-away of inbound receiving and product coming back from the showroom.
  • Repacking of items as required for showroom presentation.
  • Shipping of merchandise
  • Inventory cycle counts as required.
  • General cleaning as needed
  • Work with all other warehouse/showroom staff to prioritize and accomplish daily goals.

 

Educational and Experience Requirements

This position has no specific educational requirements. Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment a plus, but not required.

  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in both a collaborative (team) environment as well as perform independent work is required.
  • Must have a flexible schedule. Able to work evenings and occasional weekends.
  • Willingness to learn and flexibility to move from job to job

 

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to stand for the majority of the day; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The team member  is frequently required to lift/move object that weigh up to 50 lbs. Team member must be able to go up and down stairs on a regular basis.
