Northwest Trustee Services, Inc. (NTS), a full service trustee company providing default services to mortgage lenders in the Northwest, is currently recruiting for a Title Resolution Assistant for our Lake Oswego office!

NTS is the leading provider of foreclosure services in the Pacific Northwest.


The Title Resolution Assistant assists the Title Resolution Specialists and Lead in the title resolution process. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Drafts documents to clear title.
  • Verifies pertinent information to facilitate the process to clear title by doing research.
  • Provides administrative support for the Specialists, Sr. Specialists, Lead and Supervisor.
  • Requests and follows up on documents from clients and title companies.
  • Provides status reports to clients as requested.
  • Assists with drafting faxes, letters, and other correspondence.
  • Prepares and sends out mailings.
  • Scans documents into files.
  • Makes phone calls to counties, title companies, and clients as requested by specialists and lead.
  • Monitors client systems for update requests.
  • Acknowledges and assigns incoming files.
  • Assists with special projects as assigned by Specialists, Sr. Specialists, Lead, and Supervisor.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Skills & Requirements

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least one year of related experience and/or training in any combination of title, escrow, mortgage banking, or real estate owned (REO), preferably with title curative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, and Outlook.   Experience with Access is a plus.
