Essential Responsibilities & Duties:

Acting as a liaison between sales, finance, the legal team, and the customer; the Client Renewal Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all components of the contract renewal process are completed prior to renewal including up-front communication with the client, preparation of options, revisions to terms and conditions, obtaining appropriate signatures, and filing of all applicable paperwork.

Additional responsibilities of the Client Renewal Specialist include:

  • Managing a portfolio of client renewals ensuring customer retention and high dollar over dollar renewal rates.
  • Managing outbound communication to clients (e-mail and phone).
  • Partnering with sales team to provide seamless customer interaction.
  • Working closely with finance and legal teams to ensure all contracts are accurate.
  • Preparing proposals, including renewal rate calculations and contract preparation.
  • Verifying contracts, reviewing terms and conditions.
  • Responding to questions from customers and sales reps on any aspect of renewal.
  • Partnering with other renewal team members as appropriate to assist with successful completion of renewals.

 

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education:  Bachelors Degree or equivalent business experience.

 

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of contracts, proposals and the renewals process.
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of an organization, proactively resolving any issues that may arise during the renewal process.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, complete activities and meet deadlines on a daily basis.
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with computers, navigating in a windows based environment; Microsoft office.
