Receiving Coordinator (Orlando, FL)

Role Description

Imagine what you can contribute to our success.  We are growing extremely fast but we will need continuous exceptional talent to continue at this pace.  This new position is a result of our strong growth, creating the need for an experienced warehouse professional to support the needs of 20,000 square foot configuration center. To be successful in this role, you will need to accurately and promptly manage and report key results areas to control the movement of inventory in a high traffic distribution warehouse.

Candidates should have more than 2 years experience in the receiving function in a warehouse environment and proven success.

Skills & Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary degree
  • Must be able to be OSHA certified to operate forklift
  • Experience with warehouse management systems
  • Must have strong computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook Web based software tools and CRM

The challenging goals we have set out for you are the following:

Within 60 days:

  • RMA’s: Update processes for prompt and accurate handling of RMA requests, coordinate RMA requests from vendor (for vendor errors, defective/damaged product, customer stat, order error, etc.) and coordinate the logistics related to such RMAs. Report weekly the status of all RMA’s open and completed
  • Maintain adequate levels of required inventory, re-order quantities as required by certain customer requirements
  • Perform cycle counts as well as year-end physical inventory
  • Understand the method of managing and reporting inventory transactions in MAS 500 ERP

Within 120 days:

  • Implement the warehouse inventory MAS module while incorporating Zoho/bar code scanners and avoid duplicate entry
  • Implement serialization in MAS so that serial numbers appear on MAS invoices, control inventory and approve significant purchases being shipped to a UDT warehouse prior to the purchase being made to improve cashflow


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees inventory control: keeps and maintains accurate records of all inventory and stock in the warehouse; organizes warehouse and ensures proper handling and storage of goods and supplies; follows all safety regulations and legal documentation pertaining to warehousing, procurement and distribution of goods; and prepares inventory balances and other related documentation.
  • Oversees warehouse logistics which include: planning the layout of the warehouse, and the other storeroom areas, in accordance with the turnover, volume, weight, and associated aspects of goods stored; maintains tidiness and cleanliness standards; maintains cycle count of all warehouse inventories and reports discrepancies to supervisor/manager; records damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse; keeps records on service and maintenance of all warehouse machinery and equipment, and coordinates equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Real time data entry of inventory movement (receipts, shipments, deliveries by employees, inventory transfers/adjustments, customer and vendor returns, etc.)


Other Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates all shipping/receiving activities with transporters and suppliers and maintains all documentation; authenticates the goods in the received shipments and resolves any discrepancies.
  • Safety (OSHA) coordination, including holding safety committee meetings.
  • Obtains proof of deliveries (PODs) for product delivered by employees within 24 hours of leaving the warehouse.
  • Restricts physical access to warehouse/inventory.
  • Issues packing lists, inventory receipts, etc. out of MAS ERP system for product movement.
  • Special projects as needed by Company
  • Loading and unloading of containers.
  • Ability to work overtime when needed.
  • Respond to auditor requests and assist the auditor during the audit
