Job Description

We are seeking an energetic self-motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our growing, dynamic team.  This is an opportunity to get into a leading company in an exploding market with tremendous potential.  As an Inside Sales Representative you will be responsible for selling Veracode’s application security solutions into the Enterprise market over the phone. In coordination with Marketing and the Field Sales teams, you will identify appropriate target accounts, cold call on relevant individuals, sell value and close business. You are also responsible for finding and closing new business, renewing and expanding existing accounts, and enabling local channel partners to sell on your behalf. This is a revenue closing role with aggressive incentives for over achievers. The position is based in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly & annual quota. 
  • Prospect and cold call into target accounts to generate interest.
  • Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items.
  • Renew existing contracts with current customers and uncover expansion opportunities within your assigned customer base.
  • Recruit and enable local channel partners to sell into your territory on behalf of Veracode.
  • Follow up on marketing leads to qualify business needs.
  • Be comfortable and proficient in identifying key decision makers across various organizations inside the Enterprise and Independent Software Vendor (ISV,) customer profile
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
  • Be confident in positioning our value proposition from the operator level to the executive level
  • Introduce Veracode's technology and engage prospects in active dialog to prove value, earn trust and close business.
  • Manage a large and growing database of leads in Salesforce.com, efficiently processing all opportunities, tracking, reporting and maintaining them in the sales pipeline to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction
  • Deliver product demonstrations when necessary

 

Skills & Requirements

  • You must be positive, flexible, willing to learn, and constantly push yourself to succeed
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and an outgoing, energetic personality.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or CRM.
  • Demonstrated work ethic and consistent track record of over achievement including initiative to prospect calls.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence without authority.
  • Ability to adapt, contribute and succeed in a rapidly changing, fast-paced early stage company environment.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years inside sales and/or lead generation experience in the technology industry.
