Job Summary

The Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) will report to the US Marketing Director and be responsible for driving and implementing direct and channel marketing programs for the East region. He/she will be tasked with driving pipeline and building strong relationships with the sales team, corporate marketing and customers to execute on marketing plans, identifying and generating opportunities to increase the company’s mindshare and Websense market share. He/she will act as the main point of contact for the sales and Channel organization. This person should be able to react quickly to sales, marketing and partner needs and meet quarterly pipeline targets.

Essential Functions

  • Clearly define regional white space and named / focused accounts list and ensure that we have the right level of data in order to target named / focused accounts efficiently
  • Develop initiatives to drive pipeline growth in support of regional sales targets and to drive the pipeline evolution through the sales cycle
  • Develop and implement targeted cross-sell / migration initiatives to drive incremental pipeline growth and support conversion of pipeline into revenue
  • Execute on corporate campaigns to drive pipeline growth
  • Develop channel marketing plan, covering enablement and pipeline development via joint initiatives
  • Driving the communication in the region, working closely with sales, the corporate communication team to ensure maximum brand awareness
  • Ensure that the local teams are fully aware of all marketing initiatives and are kept up to date with products launches and GTM programs
  • Focus on building a loyal customer base and develop a regional Websense user group
  • Work with the customer marketing group and support the company’s reference program
  • Support corporate channel marketing initiatives and ensure successful execution
  • Supporting enterprise, commercial, and federal markets

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent experience
  • 4-5 years of related marketing experience
  • Comprehensive marketing/sales related experience in the IT industry
  • Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Word, MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM system
  • Experience in marketing in the IT industry and an ability to work in complex, fast changing environments.
  • Federal marketing experience desired
