SCHEDULING COORDINATOR
 

POSITION

The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for managing the administration and logistics for all GMCS events by creating and executing event staffing plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Staff events by scheduling available and qualified employees
  • Assist with creating and executing event staffing plans
  • Monitor employee interactions and communications to determine the best fit for each event
  • Function well in high stress situations and resolve staffing issues in the eleventh hour
  • Facilitate collection of staff hours by communicating via email, text, or phone
  • Maintain and grow client relationships where appropriate
  • Assist with packing and ensure employees have the correct uniform, equipment, and gear needed to successfully execute their operational duties for each job
  • Become a company expert on the standard operating procedures (SOP) of all jobs and be able to clearly explain them to officers
  • Maintain professional competency through participation and involvement in industry and professional networks, seminars, and associations appropriate to your role and responsibilities
  • Work closely with team members to ensure assignments are completed seamlessly and with efficiency
  • Maintain workflow and help to streamline procedures
  • Proactively offer suggestions on how to improve upon current systems and procedures
  • Rotational on call phone responsibility
  • Understand and be able to clearly explain company policies and procedures
  • Reports to Senior Regional Security/ Account Manager

 

 

Experience:                                                                                                                                                                  2+ Years Event Planning and Customer Service experience preferred

 

 

Requirements:                                                                                                                                               Excellent communication skills and professionalism

Maintain effective relationships with a diverse group of employees

Required to work evenings and weekends as needed for events

Advanced Word, excel and general computer skills
