Job Description

STATS LLC is seeking a sports writer for its Editorial department to fill a full-time position which will last six to nine months. We are a leading provider of sports stories, data and photos to media (print, Internet, broadcast, wireless), professional leagues and teams, gaming companies and brands. Our content - along with the contracted redistribution of copy from The Associated Press - is provided to a wide array of clients among the industry leaders, such as ESPN, Yahoo!, FOX Sports and Google.

Skills & Requirements

The ideal candidate will be thoroughly knowledgeable and passionately interested in all major sports with demonstrated experience as a writer and a solid background in journalism. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: preview writing for all major professional leagues and Top 25 college football and basketball games; daily updating of individual player news and notes; customized editorial work for publications and brand activation; feature writing; data analysis and the translation of performance metrics into insightful text.
