Since its inception in 2004, E3 has supported numerous federal agencies with their mission requirements by working closely to help define requirements, develop sound acquisition strategies, justify budget requests, and track project execution.

We are interviewing for a Desktop Publisher with experience working in a communications/public affairs office. Work on this project includes designing graphics/publications for electronic media, Congressional reports, magazines, tri-folds, posters, presentations, etc . The desired candidate will be working within a small team to provide technical expertise to facilitate successful implementation of client requirements.

Job Description

  • Design, compose, and maintain a variety of publications and outreach materials.
  • Compose and format lager complex documents, as well as less complex posters and brochures.
  • Provide proofreading and copy editing support.
  • Provide desktop publishing support in a variety of formats, such as magazines, reports, internal strategic communications documents, Tri-folds, posters, and slide presentations.
  • Develop and maintain publications guidance, and instruction manuals.
  • Create original graphic designs and layouts for use in printed and electronic publications, to include web pages.
  • Create drawings, illustrations, and artwork for use in publications and outreach materials.
  • Design report covers, and provide other designs.
  • Provide consultation to program staff in planning and developing publications.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in a related field of study; a degree in Graphic Arts a plus.
  • 3 -5 years of experience in developing and designing graphics and publication support.
  • Experience with the full Adobe Suite, including InDesign.
  • Strong design, editing, and proofreading skills are highly desirable.
  • Active SECRET clearance.
