As Sales Operations Manager, you will manage Aptean's global Customer and Prospect System used to identify, evaluate and monetize the total potential opportunity within our customer base and prospect universe. This role will be responsible for development and refinement of appropriate algorithms to evaluate each potential company for product level fit and the related estimated valuation of that potential. 

Key Responsibilities

• Training, Development and Management of up to 25 NA interns, 3 or 4 Leads/Specialists/Analysts

• Development/Refinement of Ranking Algorithms and correlated Whitespace and Market Opportunity pricing methodology/estimation

• Evangelism/Training of ACAP System to promote user adoption and value

• Manage the data flow between appropriate systems

• Work with related Leadership teams to ensure all ACAPS related concerns and needs are met and remain aligned with corporate initiatives

• Manage the budget, headcount scheduling, metrics and reporting to ensure project stays on track and resources are utilized meaningfully


Skills & Requirements


• Sound Judgment/Decisiveness: Ability to make appropriate, sometimes creative decisions with limited information

• Big picture/long term focus with comprehensive understanding of detailed requirements

• Adaptability: Being able to keep the core elements of the project moving forward while continually evaluating predominant cross functional needs and making appropriate adjustments accordingly

• Critical Thinking:  Ability to intuitively comprehend potential incongruencies with  high level output; Evaluate variance between expected results and actual results and adjust process when appropriate


• Solid high level software product knowledge: CRM's, ERP's, SCM's, etc. particularly regarding common functionality and typical pricing structures

• Management/leadership experience: Ability to nurture, develop and coach a team with limited professional experience

• Heavy analytics background: Deep understanding of data relationships, structure, and best practices

• Data collection methodology/experience ideal

• Potentially call center / Business Development / Inside Sales experience, as there will be heavy phone work involved

• Project planning/organizational skills

• Strong Microsoft Office skills with a particular emphasis on Advanced Excel formula's and Pivot Tables

• Pivotal CRM, Qlikview BI and Crystal reporting a plus
