Job Description


Alta Group has contracted with a telecommunications company in the North Eastern Region of the USA to provide technicians on a temporary basis for a limited period of time in the event the company experiences a work stoppage.  In the event of a work stoppage, we will be engaged, as temporary replacements for the installation, maintenance and repair of telecommunication services.


Control Center/Contract Work AA’s are primarily responsible for administrative support of the Outside Plant Construction workgroup and the process flow of information associated with constructing outside plant facilities.  AA’s will be responsible for processing all material consumption transactions in our financial systems, processing invoices in accordance with appropriate project codes and verifying project transaction accuracy.  AA’s will be expected to work at a PC in an office environment for extended periods of time.

Major Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Working with engineering work orders and cable, pole & telephone equipment records
  • Analyzing and summarizing data for use in preparing reports and maintaining records
  • Preparing bills and vouchers for entry into accounts payable systems
  • Processing systematic inventory transactions to care for material consumption
  • Communicating with employees in other departments
  • Operating a PC for accessing multiple systems for input and retrieval of data
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Work Requirements:

  • Required to sit for extended periods of time.

  • Must successfully complete a criminal and drug background check.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.
