GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

To perform duties in a support role for all of Mortgage Operations

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Act as the receptionist for TruHome.
  2. Ability to set up 8-10 loans per day.
  3. Set up loan files. This includes but not limited to:

    A:  Creating loan file.

    B.: Ordering Title commitments, Appraisals,

    C:  Ordering FHA/VA case number assignments

    D:  Ordering of necessary government loan docs that pertain to FHA/VA Loans

    E:  Ordering any necessary verification for all loan types

  1. Assign loans files to the processing managers.
  2. Reconciling appraisal invoices, and working with accounting.
  3. Processing of payments for the appraisals.
  4. Ordering Supplies.
  5. Monitoring email inbox for the Title order, uploading the title commitment and sending the to the appropriate parties.
  6. Promotes honest and open communication throughout the company
  7. Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with the credit union’s values, philosophies, and leadership characteristics.
  8. Work with other credit union departments to insure the workflow or process is providing the best service to the members.
  9. Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  1. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
  2. Ability to resolve interpersonal conflict and miscommunications.
  3. Knowledge of spreadsheet software and ability to use word processing software.
  4. Must be able to be bonded.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

In this position, individual will be expected to lift up to 20 pounds from time to time.

Also, must be able to stoop, bend, reach, or stand for extended periods of time.  Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position is expected to work in general office environment and may have to travel for visits to other credit union facilities or for training purposes.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Mortgage Lending experience preferred, but not required.
