Due to continued growth, MRI Software is seeking a highly motivated Software Sales Account Manager - West Coast (AM's) to join our dynamic team.  The Account Managers are responsible for generating new and recurring revenue through the sales and marketing of MRI’s customizable applications.  This is a great opportunity for dynamic sales professionals that are focused on expanding MRI’s footprint to our existing client base employing a consultative sales approach.  This individual will drive and manage the entire sales process to include targeting whitespace opportunities, identifying client solutions, building and maintaining customer relationships, performing software demonstrations, as well as negotiating and closing opportunities within an assigned territory.  This position will be based on the West Coast.

An Account Manager is compensated through a competitive base pay and un-capped commission.  In addition, members of our team compete to attend an annual Circle of Excellence incentive trip, among many other perks.

Skills & Requirements

  • 3+ years of strategic sales experience in business products or services, and managing a territory and/or client relationship.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or relation discipline or equivalent training in business or sales management with 1+ years of sales experience
  • Software sales experience and/or knowledge of the Real Estate industry preferred
  • Demonstrated track record in closing new business and exceeding sales targets with the ability to demonstrate software to potential users.
  • Proven ability to push past rejection and achieve results.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and deliver powerful presentations
  • Demonstrated computer systems knowledge, including web technologies, CRM, employee self-service, and a general understanding of larger business system applications.
  • Must live in assigned territory and have the ability to work from a remote home office. Out-of-town travel required. Work is performed from a home office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards; substantial time is spent working on a computer.
  • Ability to attend an in-depth sales boot camp in Cleveland, OH upon hire is required.
  • Personal credit card, or functional equivalent, is required for business expenses which shall be reimbursed pursuant to company policy
