SUMMARY:

As a supporting member of the Bon Appetit Culinary team, the Project Manager plans and executes projects and accounts; acts as the project liaison for the Client and Bon Appetit Culinary team; oversees the management of large client projects.

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following:

  • Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
  • Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.
  • Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
  • Work independently while understanding the necessi for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.

MAJOR DUTIES/FUNCTIONS/TASKS:

  • Leading project teams in the preparation of proposals, presentations, project plans and overall account management requirements.
  • Developing and supporting the client relationship to expand new business opportunities.
  • Partnership and attendance at client facing meetings/calls offering thought partnership and support to clients and Bon Appetit Culinary team
  • Establishing and maintaining Project Management Plans including:
  • Facilitating project meetings including:  Project Kickoff, Map Days, Project Status, Stakeholders, and PLC Decisions.
  • Procuring and managing resources.
  • Identifying, documenting, and assigning project roles, responsibilities, and reporting relationships.
  • Executing and monitoring the project activities against the Project Management Plan.
  • Ensuring organizational standard metrics are measured and reported.
  • Monitor, control and provide performance/status reports about project health/performance to the Bon Appetit Culinary team.
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback to the project team.
  • Monitoring project team health and create a positive working relationship.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Project Management and customer service experience. Experience in hospitality, restaurant or retail preferred.
  • Demonstrated experienced user of Microsoft Office Suite, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google apps for project management, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Gmail.
  • Candidates must be creative and strategic thinkers, who have demonstrated excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills (oral, written, presentation, listening).
  • Ability to prioritize workload and respond quickly to time-sensitive requests.
  • Strong planning and coordination skills to work with multiple priorities and diverse clients.
