Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurants is looking for talented Kitchen Managers in Columbus, OH. to support our growing concept. The Kitchen Manager will partner with the Executive Kitchen Manager by coaching team members on food policies, procedures, and systems to ensure excellent food quality and reduce food and labor costs.

Skills & Requirements

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Continuously uphold outstanding food quality
  • Lead  and motivate the kitchen team to execute Cooper's Hawk policies and procedures
  • Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling and ongoing development of back of house team members to Cooper's Hawk standards
  • Monitor and improve of food and labor cost systems
  • Prepare daily production list
  • Place food and supply orders
  • Complete line-checks to ensure all stations are stocked with necessary equipment
  • Ensure that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout the kitchen area at all times
  • Coach and train team members to increase knowledge about safety, sanitation, and accident prevention principles
  • Ensure superior quality of recipes and portions control
  • Work directly with Event Coordinator in preparation for planned events

Ideal candidates will be systems and procedures driven, have 2 years of experience working in high volume restaurants, scratch kitchen, a passion for food and wine, and a dedication to quality.  Additionally, ideal candidates will have a record of longevity, leadership and strong oral and written communication skill. We are looking for team-oriented people who are dedicated to superior service and quality.
