 Supports plant NDT/NDE operations through product launches, machine purchases, machine trials, technique development, machine troubleshooting, Level I/II training, software programming, work instruction development and production/customer assistance.  Also supports Resonance Inspection methodology. 


Skills & Requirements


  • Determines acceptable vendors for machine purchases.
  • Determines NDT process to be used and NDT techniques as necessary to comply with customer.
  • Writes Equipment Order Specifications.
  • Updates and maintains documentation manuals/ work instructions.
  • Performs and maintains software programming for machinery.
  • Maintains backup computer hardware/software as required and other applicable backup components.
  • Serve as facilities’ RSO (Radiation Safety Officer)
  • Assist in all NDT quality issues and processes.
  • Must keep ASNT certifications up to date.
  • Housekeeping
  • Required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties upon request of the supervisor
  • Complies with the following OSHA Safety Standards: Hazard Communication; Bloodborne Pathogens; Lockout; Permit Required Confined Space; Hot Work Permit; Powered Industrial Trucks; P.P.E. and Ergonomics
  • When necessary, participate in classes and training seminars to learn new technologies and techniques deemed helpful to performance on the job
