Job Description

Primarily responsible for the timely, accurate and consistent preparation of the Company’s internal and external financial reports; including Form 10-Q and 10-K filed with the SEC and monthly internal financial reports.  The Financial Reporting Analyst will also prepare specified monthly account reconciliations and assist in the month-end close process.  The position will be responsible for special projects including research and implementation of relevant accounting standards as well as support of other Finance functions as necessary.

Skills & Requirements

  • Preparation of quarterly and annual reports on Form 10-Q and 10-K including financial statements and corresponding footnotes.
  • Preparation of various other SEC filings including on Form 8-K as necessary.
  • Assist in completion of XBRL tagging process.
  • Work closely with internal/external auditors and regulators to ensure successful and timely completion of audits and exams.
  • Preparation of monthly internal financial statements and relevant scorecards to distribute to business units.
  • Preparation of monthly board of director reports and financial performance summary.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial presentations given by key executives.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate accounting records for all companies/units.
  • Participate in various special projects.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.  Degree must be from a credible college or university.
  • CPA preferred.
  • 2-4 years of prior finance, accounting or other relevant experience required.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and corresponding financial statement and footnote completion.
  • Prior experience with SEC filings through public accounting or industry experience.
  • Basic understanding of internal control over financial reporting.
  • Proficient with spreadsheet and word-processing software, including heavy use of Microsoft Excel.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills including the ability to prepare concise and coherent financial narratives, and communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to organize and successfully complete simultaneous projects.
  • Ability to develop cooperation and work collaboratively with peers and other associates.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Strong analytical skills.
