As a member of the team, you will support the installation, optimization, integration, troubleshooting, backup, recovery, modifications, security, and upgrading of IT systems and components to provide services that enable customers to effectively apply IT to business requirements.

Job Responsibilities and/ or Success Factors:

  • Maintains operating systems and associated infrastructure software
  • Pro-actively manages, monitors and evaluates performance of the servers
  • Perform new hardware and Windows OS installations, patching and upgrades
  • Assists in updating policies and procedures in the area of Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Systems Management, Monitoring Systems Administration/Security, Build Standards and Server Build Automation

Required skills and experience include:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in computer-related field
  • 5+ years extensive experience in Windows system administration and engineering experience supporting a production environment
  • 5+ years extensive experience in Windows server administration tasks

Preferred skills:

  • Experience in working with the federal government in information technology
  • Oracle and SQL Server database development experience
  • MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional)

Clearance requirements: This position requires the candidates have an active Secret clearance.
