We are currently looking for a full-time Charge Entry Coordinator to join our Business office.  This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday, daytime hours.  Main responsibilities for this position include:

  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge and understanding of billing, collection policies and procedures, explaining account payment and settlement process.
  • Post daily charges and TOS payments, post no-shows & forfeited deposits.
  • Reconcile batch to batch header and Misys pay/adjust recap report.
  • Post surgeries and apply deposits and adjustments.
  • Post IVF lab encounters and apply all IVF deposits.
  • At month end close, ensure that all encounters are captured and posted.
  • Process and send paper claims.
  • Allocate IVF Self-pay payments.
  • Post all approved physician adjustments.
  • Provide coverage in the Patient Services area on a scheduled or needed basis.





Skills & Requirements

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in collection services in a health care setting.
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
  • Excellent computer and record keeping skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to communicate accurately and concisely, written and oral.
  • Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills.
  • Professional demeanor.
