Our Morgantown, WV office seeks a Project Manager with environmental consulting experience to oversee staff and manage manage environmental projects

Our ideal candidate will also be able to assist with business development initiatives to help grow and diverse the office.

Established relationships with Oil & Gas clients in West Virginia’s environmental market are a major plus!

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Oversees a portfolio of diverse environmental projects and supervises technical staff.
  • Manages client interaction and financial and resource allocation.
  • Provides senior level project oversight and expert technical input on complex projects.
  • Reviews and approves project related documents and deliverables.
  • Evaluates subsurface characteristics for remediation projects, remedial system design, and regulatory negotiations.
  • Conducts performance reviews and project team meetings to review current and future projects, discuss project and/or employee issues, and staff workloads.
  • Collaborates with the Site Operations Manager to target new areas and opportunities for business within the government, petroleum and industrial business sectors.
  • Generates leads and develops new business opportunities through networking.
  • Attends industry related conferences, exhibitions, associations, and functions.
  • Participates in all aspects of bid and proposal preparation.
  • Co-conducts sales presentations and informational seminars for potential clients.

 

 

 


 

 

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology, Env Science, Engineering or related
  • 10+ years of progressive environmental consulting experience is required. Must also have experience with client interaction and employee management. Experience providing environmental consulting support to companies within the natural gas industry within the Marcellus Shale region is a big plus.
  • Strong knowledge of West Virginia's environmental regulations is required.
  • The ability to help to expand the scope of services provided to our existing clients, and assist in building new client relationships is a major plus.
  • Must possess excellent communication, teamwork, analytical, organizational, technical writing, and client service skills
  • Professional certification a plus Drug/Alcohol Screening and a Background Check are required.
