Job Description


Manage/direct union associates based on tasks that need to be accomplished. The Night Operations Manager acts as a liaison between union associates and upper management.

The night shift is a shift that works from 7pm – 6am Mon - Fri


To run an efficient and productive shift operation by planning, staffing and overseeing efficient work flows.

Night Operations: The responsibilities include warehouse management and the directing of the loading of cases of wines & sprirts onto the company’s delivery trucks. The company ships 20,000 – 80,000 cases per night. The processes involved are picking from full case pick lines, picking from the bottle room, and replenishment of both full and split case complexes in a timely fashion so that the trucks can be dispatched at their morning (7am) starting times. Process management and labor management are essential.

Skills & Requirements


Supervise 50+ warehouse Union associates and use common sense and the technique of progressive discipline to effectively manage associates.

Education and experience


 BA or BS required - preferably a BS in engineering



Experience in a pick, pack and ship operation preferred. Experience in a process oriented enviroment required.



- Ability to process engineer and solve problems.

- Ability to read and write simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to associates.

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
