Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Supports Company and Dept. objectives and goals by proper planning, organization and direction.  Is responsible for investigation of customer inquiries as to receipt of merchandise.  In conjunction with the Dispute Resolution Manager ensures that there is proper staffing and manpower required in Operations on a daily basis

 

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESULTS

1) Investigates to conclusion customer inquiries of merchandise receipt by:

     a) Receiving initial complaints from Customer Service

             b) Formulating a determination for the final outcome of an account’s inquiry by reviewing all pertinent                       documentation, videos, signatures and driver interviews

             c) Interacting with the sales associate of an account where it may be necessary to rectify a discrepancy.

 

       2)  Ensures proper daily staffing and manpower within Operations by:

             a) Accepting and reviewing employment applications received during weekly Open House

             b) Communicating with Operations management team regarding required staffing and contacting new                         hires as needed

             c) Maintaining personnel files of casual/per diem associates and forwarding necessary paperwork to                         Payroll, HR and other departments as needed

 

Skills & Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 Education:

 High School diploma required

         

 Experience:

A minimum two years’ work related experience preferred

Customer Service experience preferred

 

Skills:

a) Ability to communicate in a clear, organized and controlled manner required

b) Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office required

c) Knowledge of JDE Preferred

d) Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos required. 

e) Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to associates required.  

f) Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out uninvolved written or oral instructions required. 

g) Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations required.                  

h) Understanding of investigative skills preferred
