Job Summary

The Nurse Expert - East is an integral member of the Clovis Team.  The Nurse Expert - East supports the efforts of the commercial organization. They increase customer knowledge and understanding of Clovis products and the associated approved indications (disease states) by providing on label clinical education.  The primary role is to support the commercial teams and their objectives through interactions with Allied Health customers (PA, NP, Nurses, and support staff) in key targeted accounts and provide clinical in-services/educational presentations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide relevant education to Allied Health customers on Clovis products and the associated approved indications (disease states)
  • Educate Allied Health customers on appropriate patient identification and use of Rubraca consistent with the approved indication
  • Develop and foster relationships with key Allied Health Customers
  • Share ideas and support the oncology sales team members with sales opportunities specifically related to oncology nursing
  • Uncover, identify, and communicate unique sales opportunities
  • Attend and support relevant medical and nursing conferences and meetings (national/regional/local)
  • Assist in the identification and development of key RN/NP opinion leaders
  • Works closely to support sales team in understanding and handling any issues with approved Clovis products i.e. nursing related management of side effects and adverse events
  • Partner with Commercial Training department to support clinical training of commercial teams

Skills & Requirements

 Education and Experience

  • BSN Required and/or MSN preferred and/or OCN or AOCN certification
  • Minimum of 3 years in oncology clinical setting
  • Experience in the delivery of chemotherapy and oral therapy
  • Experience with Ovarian Cancer patients preferred

Working Conditions

  • Up to 70% travel will be required in some geographies
  •  As this position affords a car allowance, candidates must meet the requirements of “Qualified Driver” as determined by Clovis in its sole discretion, including but not limited to the following:
    •  At least 21 years of age
    •  Driver’s license in good standing issued by the state of residence
    •  A driving risk deemed acceptable by Clovis
